Cobetter IV filters ensure patients safety during intravenous therapies. The filters eliminate inadvertent particulate debris, such as plastic or glass fragments, reducing adverse reactions and immune responses. They also remove gas bubbles from IV lines, significantly minimizing the risk of air embolisms. Cobetter IV filters are equipped with high quality PES membrane and PTFE membrane.



The Main Function of Infusion Therapy Filters

·  Air elimination. Cobetter hydrophobic membrane which enables them to remove gas bubbles from infusion solutions, significantly minimizing the risk of gas emboli. 

·  Particle removing. The specif filter 0.2μm membrane reliably and safely protects against particles (like rubber abrasion, glass splinters) through skin or air contact. 

·  Low protein binding.Maximizes delivery of drugs with double side low protein binding PES membrane.

·  Retention of Bacteria and Bacterial Endotoxins. The endotoxin retention is achieved by the positive charging of the filter membrane of 0.2μm of 96 h.

·  Small, compact design makes it ideal for alternate site and ambulatory care applications.

Introductions of 0.2μm and 1.2μm IV filter.

·  0.2μm IV infusion filter:The membrane passed the B. diminuta Filtration Efficiency Test, and the challenge level reaches that LRV≥107CFU/cm2 per ASTM F838 test methods.
·  1.2μm IV infusion filter:The membrane passed the Candida Albicans Filtration Efficiency Test,and the challenge level reaches that LRV ≥ 107CFU/cm2.

Double-layer PES membranes, expand the effective filtration area, realize a stronger dirt holding capacity, and faster liquid flow rate.

Cobetter PES membrane has regular and uniform filter pores, high filtration accuracy, no foreign matter shedding, less drug adsorption, and a longer service life. Strictly grading the pore size, you can choose the appropriate pore size according to clinical needs.

Eight venting holes with Oleophobic PTFE membrane, located close to the upstream and downstream positions, can better exhaust, avoid gas bubbles entering into human body, ensure long-term hydrophobic performance without leakage, at the same time reduce the operational restrictions in clinical applications.
